Whenever we take a booking for a trip to Disneyland Paris, mark our words, we get almost as excited as the customer. We love witnessing the excitement in their eyes, the glee in their face, and the inerasable smile on their children’s faces.
We do everything in our power to ensure that each and every trip to Disneyland is as magical and carefree as it ought to be. We have done a couple of blog posts in the past, giving some great tips on making your trip to Disneyland Paris the best it could be. Of course, however, the tips are endless! So here are a few more tips that are certain to make your trip the best it could possibly be.
Extra Magic Hours (formerly known as Easy Pass)
Imagine having exclusive extra time for some of Disneyland Paris’s most popular attractions? Think it’s not possible, that it sounds like stuff that dreams are made of? Think again! Extra Magic Hours allows you to enter into the park a whole TWO hours before regular opening hours. During these two hours, you can spend some extra time enjoying some of your favourite attractions…minus the queues! So how do you get these Extra Magic Hours? Simple! All you need to do is to stay in a Disney-owned hotel, which you can read all about here -> Where to stay at Disneyland Paris
Just because you have a young child does not mean you cannot have a great time at Disneyland Paris. You might think queuing might be a pain in the backside, but thanks to a great service called “Baby Switch”, it’s as easy as pie! This service allows two adults to queue at once, and then take turns riding the attraction, whilst the other one looks after your pride and joy. Then, when the first rider arrives back, they can simply switch places! To use Baby Switch, all you have to do is ask the Cast Member at the entrance, and they will direct you accordingly. Easy, peasy, lemon sweezy!
Disney Shopping Service
So imagine this; it’s morning/daytime, and you spied how quiet the Disneyland Paris stores are. Without thinking, you have shopped ‘til you’re about to drop…you have it all – gifts, souvenirs, the lot! You are laden down with bags before your Disneyland Paris adventure even starts. FIDDLESTICKS!
Fear not! The Disney Shopping Service is on hand to save the day! That’s right; for no extra charge, Cast Members will take care of your shopping for you so that you can pick it up later at the Disney Store in Disney Village, or if you are staying at a Disney hotel, you have the option to get them delivered there. This means you can enjoy your day at the park without the…ahem…extra baggage. To avail of this service, all you need to do is ask about it when making your purchases at any of Disney’s walk-in boutiques.
Disneyland Paris is so much more than a theme park. It is rich in wonderful tales and majestic histories which have been created over decades. Every prop, tree and fictional advertisement is there for a reason and these guided tours give you insights into those reasons. There are two different tours you can do: a tour of the Disneyland Park, and a tour of Walt Disney Studios Park. The Disneyland Park tour is a two-hour guided walking tour which teaches you about the park and its history from a unique angle. The tour of the Walt Disney Studios Park is a one-and-half hour guided walking tour which unveils the secrets of the intriguing world of cinema and animation. You will also get to hear unusual insider anecdotes from the history of the movies and learn to spot the hidden nods and tributes of the park.
