Thessaloniki is a historical port and is the second largest city of Greece surrounded by the Aegean Sea. Thessaloniki’s beautiful seafront extends for 5km and offers fantastic views to take in while strolling along the waterfront promenade. Thessaloniki Airport is located 13 km south-east of the city.

Thessaloniki is a very compact city so most things are within walking distance. White Tower is an iconic building that sits at the waterfront. Previously used as both a fortress and a prison, it now has a museum and lookout point on the roof. Many monuments and ruins can be seen here, including the Monument of Alexander the Great and the Roman forum. Modiano Market is extremely popular and a wonderful way to experience some local Greek foods on offer. A boat trip around the harbour is a fantastic way to see the cities surrounding views while enjoying a drink onboard during a hot sunny day.
