Corralejo is the largest holiday resort in Fuerteventura. It is located on the northeast coast right next to the famous Corralejo National Park. The volcanic island of Isla de Lobos is just off the coast and you can take the ferry from here to Lanzarote. A regular service runs to Playa Blanca during peak months. Corralejo is 30km from Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura’s capital, and there is a regular bus service between both towns.

Corralejo is a very popular beach resort, renowned for its azure blue waters, golden sandy beaches and secluded coves. It’s also a great destination for surfing and other water sports. There are many bars and restaurants overlooking the waterfront near the harbour and plenty of shops on the streets within the town. At night, choices range from live music venues to stylish bars and beachside clubs can be found at Galera Beach. To the south of the resort is Flag Beach which is famous for windsurfing. A day trip to the stylish resort of Playa Blanca is a must. Isla de Lobos, an uninhabited island, is just a 20-minute boat trip from the harbour and you can snorkel in the waters here.
