Jersey experiences a temperate climate with mild winter weather
and cool summers. During the summer months between May and
September, is the best time to visit Jersey when sunny summer
weather is plentiful. July and August are the hottest months when
temperatures have been known to exceed more than 77F (25C). Winters
in Jersey are relatively mild and the weather during January, the
coldest month, hovers around the 48F (9C) mark. Jersey is well
known for experiencing the most annual sunshine in the whole of the

The currency is the pound (GBP), which is divided into 100
pence. ATMs are available in all towns and Visa, MasterCard and
American Express are widely accepted; visitors with other cards

however better exchange rates are likely to be found at banks.
