The City of Miami, located on the south-eastern coast of Florida, is the 7th largest in the USA. Miami experiences a tropical climate, with warm winters and very hot summers. Miami Airport is 4km from the city centre, or if joining a cruise Port Miami is 16km from the airport.

Miami offers something for every type of traveller. Miami Beach is 9 miles long and is divided into 3 districts. The main attraction is South Beach, with its Art Deco district and trendy nightlife. By day, enjoy the beach or walk, jog or hire a bike on the waterfront path. Lincoln Road is a long pedestrian area with shops, boutiques, restaurants and entertainment. Nearby Española Way was built as an artists’ colony modelled on villages in Spain and France and today you can enjoy boutique shopping, outdoor dining and people watching here. Everglades National Park, located south of Miami, is a habitat for numerous animal species including the American alligator, birds, turtles, wild boars and more.

Miami makes for a great trip for everyone, including families, friend groups, couples and solo travellers. City tours, boat trips or day trips to famous Key West or the Everglades are enjoyable ways to see Miami and its surroundings. For the sporty traveller, Miami has top class golf and tennis facilities and for the more adventurous, there are thrilling theme parks throughout the city.
