Hillsborough River State Park or Lettuce Lake Park are natural areas where you can fish, hike, cycle, bird-watch, kayak or try and spot a lazy gator! Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Park and Hyde Park are hip areas perfect for shopping, dining and nightlife. Ybor City neighbourhood is a historic mix of architecture and modern buildings with Cuban and Spanish influences. The old red brick buildings are now popular nightlife venues where visitors can enjoy a cocktail with their meal. Tampa itself is a city stay, but its just a 30 minute drive to the stunning Gulf coast beaches.
