Discover Burma Holiday
The highlights of Burma visiting Rangoon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake.
Once frequented only by fishermen and pirates, Langkawi is now established as one of the world’s favourite holiday hideaways, with luxury hotels, white-sanded, palm-fringed beaches, waterfalls and limestone peaks. Langkawi’s main resorts are found at the strips of beach called Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah, on the West coast.
Activities include boat trips to Pulau Dayang Bunting and its freshwater lake, and the wildlife sanctuary of Pulau Singa Besar. To the South, Pulau Payar is a marine park, popular for diving, snorkelling and glass-bottom boat trips to view the coral reef.
There are many other activities on Langkawi island such as jet skiing, jungle trekking in the rainforest, island hopping, go-karting, golf and much more.
