Pantanal
Pantanal extends from Brazil into Bolivia and Paraguay. During the wet season (November to April), the region is flooded and the dry season (May to October), the region is made up of small lakes. There is a diverse range of animals, plants and it has the most biologically rich environments of the world.
The Pantanal region is a natural paradise, which is home to hundreds of different types of birds, thousands of butterflies and flowers, monkeys, anacondas, endangered jaguars to name just a few. Unlike in the Amazon, where the animals are hidden out of view, the Pantanal is positively bursting with wildlife.
