5 Ways To Do Disneyland Paris On A Budget

Disneyland Paris is probably top of your kids’ holiday list. You may even be a secret Disneyland fanatic yourself. (To find out if you are take this Disney quiz!)

Whatever your reason for planning a trip, it makes sense to look for the best deal possible. If you’re smart about it and do a little research, there are obvious ways to save on your trip, like nabbing the best deal with Abbey Travel! But there are also some other ways to save on your trip you may have overlooked.

HERE ARE FIVE OF OUR TOP TIPS FOR DOING DISNEYLAND PARIS ON A BUDGET:

1. GO OFF PEAK

If you go to Disneyland Paris anytime outside the kids’ summer holidays you should get the best deal. Heading midweek can also be cheaper, and Tuesday and Thursday are the days with the shortest queues so you’ll win in more ways than one!

2. PLAN YOUR MEALS & SNACKS

Having all your meals in restaurants becomes costly quickly, so check with Abbey Travel about meal plans – you can save up to 10% if you book a half board meal plan before you go. You can pick up snacks and water in the shops in the train stations, and this will save you a fortune on snacks and lunch throughout the day. You’ll be able to refill your water bottles at water fountains too. To keep costs down, plan which restaurants you’ll go to in advance from these menus, and book your table early in the day to make sure you all get in!

3. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SPECIAL OFFERS

Abbey Travel always has great special offers for Disneyland Paris so check with us before you book to see which offer suits you best. You may get free nights or free half board meals plans depending on when you want to travel.

4. SET A BUDGET FOR SOUVENIRS

It’s impossible to resist picking up every cute souvenir you see when you head into the shops on site. However, you’ll rack up quite a bill very quickly.

Decide how much you want to spend beforehand, give your kids a budget and let them know you mean business. Don’t leave shopping until the last minute either, or you’ll panic and pick up all sorts. (And we know because it has happened to us!)

5. BUY YOUR COFFEES INDIVIDUALLY

You can bring snacks in, but it’s likely you’ll need a coffee or tea break to perk you up during the day. Buy hot drinks mid-morning individually if you’re buying a few. You’ll get a coupon on the back of each receipt for a free hot drink for that afternoon, so it’ll be two for the price of one!
