THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO CHOOSING YOUR DISNEYLAND PARIS HOTEL

Days spent at Disneyland Paris are about as tiring as they are exciting. You can imagine how the adrenaline from the numerous rollercoasters, hype from meeting legendary Disney characters, as well as the electric atmosphere that makes Disneyland so captivating can take its toll on young bodies by the end of the day.
It is so important that both you and your little munchkins are able to relax and recuperate after your busy days in the Disneyland Paris parks which is sure to be full of adventure, smiles, giggles…and tonnes of “oooohs” and “aaaahs”, and “mummy mummy, look! It’s Mickey Mouse! It’s ACTUALLY him!”
It’s true, all you will want to do is to fall into a comfy bed and be tucked up snug as a bug until dawn breaks marking a brand new day of excitement, colour and magic. That is why you need to put lots of thought into choosing the perfect accommodation for your Disneyland trip. We are – as always - here to help you…
We generally advise Disneylanders to seek accommodation in one of Disneyland’s Disney-themed hotels. You cannot beat them in terms of quality and comfort – and of course the all-important experience. You can now extend the magic with up to 2 Extra Magic Hours in Disneyland Park when you stay at one of these hotels.
To make things a little easier when selecting Disneyland accommodation, each Disney Hotel is categorised into one of four categories, based on level of luxury.
PRESTIGE DELUXE HOTEL
The Disneyland Hotel falls into this category of hotels. It offers platinum service, impeccable theming and sparkling attention to detail. One of the standout features of the Disneyland Hotel is that each morning, the Disney characters do a meet and greet as standard so hotel residences can start their day in true Disney fashion. *Please note that this service will only be available until October 2014.
For those of you lucky enough to be planning to go over for the Christmas Season, you can now add a great seasonal extra to your room - snuggle down in a Christmas-themed room, with festive decorations and small tree with gifts.
DELUXE HOTEL
Do you love New York, or at least the idea of it? Imagine how magical your trip would be if you combined the atmosphere of The Big Apple and the atmosphere of Disneyland Paris? Well you don’t need to just imagine it – you can actually EXPERIENCE it for yourself. If the sound of that floats your boat, a stay in Disney’s Hotel New York is a must. Even better, the hotel is just a short stroll from the Disney Parks, or five minutes by free shuttle.
You can also add a seasonal extra and get in the holiday spirit with a Christmas-themed room.
MID-RANGE HOTELS
Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge fall into this category. Both these hotels offer affordable quality and comfort. In fact, the Sequoia Lodge offers something particularly special. Golden Forest Rooms at the Sequoia are a little more expensive than standard rooms, but they offer the added bonus of a chance to meet the Disney characters every morning at breakfast. *Please note that this service will only be available until October 2014.
There is also a free refreshment on offer for all guests. Again, the mid-range hotels are very close to the Disney Parks (10-15 minute stroll, or 5 minutes by free shuffle).
VALUE HOTELS
On a budget, but don’t want to miss out? No problem! The value hotels (Disney’s Santa Fe and Hotel Cheyenne) are big on value, fun and magic…but definitely not prices. They are located within a twenty minute walk from the Disney Parks or five minutes by free shuttle.
