Welcome to De L'Europe Amsterdam

De L'Europe Amsterdam Located in the very centre of town overlooking one of Amsterdams beautiful canals, this deluxe hotel is within walking distance of Central station, is also in the heart of the shopping district, close to the flower market and to all major tourist attractions. All bedrooms are medium sized and are all very unique and as is expected from a hotel of this standard, all are in very good condition as they are continuously being checked and refurbished as and when required. As this hotel is very traditional, all rooms come complete with antiques in the rooms which themselves are of course very luxurious. The bathrooms are also in good condition and traditional in style. The hotel has had a major total renovation which was completed in 2011 and now offers several food and beverage outlets including the Hoofdstaat Brasserie serving french bistrot food with an open kitchen and offering 700 different wines as well as small wine tasting tours. A luxurious and extensive breakfast is also served in this restaurant which offers wonderful views over the river Amstel. The Restaurant Bordeau is the gastronomic restaurant offering mouthwatering French cuisine with a Dutch twist and localised produces. It also benefits from extensive canal views and has outdoor seating, weather permitting. Freddies Bar is the original bar that Freddy Heineken, the founder of Heineken and owners of the hotel, loved to frequent. it is a very cosy, traditional bar and also offers a seperate smoking/cigar room.A beautiful, traditional building with the kitchen of the famous restaurant at water level so that during a canal cruise, the kitchen is included in all canal cruises "places of interest" due to its worldwide reputation.Completely renovated in 2011 the lobby has the wow factor with its scarlett walls, copies of 6 Dutch master paintings (the originals may be seen in the Rijksmusuem) adorning the walls and Morano glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. This room also incorporates the lobby lounge and bar which offers drinks and light snacks and specialises in afternoon tea and of course the reception area. This is one of the most famous hotels in Amsterdam and offers luxury and elegance throughout with a perfect location in the centre of Amsterdam, on one of the cities famous canals. 040908JG(c) Donvand Limited 2013
