Cala d'Or is a village on the east coast of the island of Majorca, which is one of the Balearic Islands. Surrounded by small beach coves and 66 km from the capital of Palma, its easily one of the jewels in the Majorcan sun.  

With its pristine calm waters, sandy coves, and family-orientated way of life, Cala d'Or is a great alternative to Majorca's more popular resort destinations. Old, cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings create a more traditional, laid-back holiday vibe but there is also a good mix of bars and nightlife. A pedestrianised shopping area has everything from craft shops to chic boutiques. In the heart of the resort you will find a stunning marina, which is lined with shops, restaurants, bars and of course plenty of yachts. A great place to stop and watch the world go by! The historic fort ‘Es Fortí’ is within walking distance of the town and well worth a visit.

Cala d’Or is popular with couples and especially families as the shallow waters of the sandy coves offer plenty of safe beach activities. Keen cyclists will enjoy plenty of mountainous trails to test their abilities.
