I have been working in travel for 13 years now. I took a year out to go travelling to experience and have a better understanding of the packages I was selling. I visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii and Thailand. I have visited a lot of countries including a lot of destinations in the US and European cities.

I became interested in cruising and got my first taste on a Disney cruise ship called the Magic. This was such a different way to visit so many places in one holiday. I have been on two since, doing the Caribbean with Royal Caribbean and along the west coast of America from Alaska down to San Diego with Celebrity Cruises. I have visited Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Hawaii this year. My favourite place to visit is Las Vegas.

I have been working for Abbey Travel for the last 17 years. I've been working in the Disneyland Pairs market for the last 11 years. I have travelled to America & been to Washington, Louisville, Kentucky, Nashville and Graceland. It was a truly surreal life experience. I've been back to New York since and love it. I've travelled all over Europe and absolutely love Italy, in particular Tuscany and the beautiful Portofino. Over the last few years I've travelled to the United Arab Emirates a few times, in particular Dubai. This was a pure luxury holiday, the food, the service and the shopping will never be forgotten. My favourite country is South Africa, going on safari and experiencing what I'd only ever seen on TV. The wildlife and the simple local way of life has to be seen to be believed.

I have worked in travel 17 years now and started working in Abbey travel in 1999, seems such a long time ago now! I have had the opportunity to travel to some great destinations in that time including some great city breaks to New York, Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Budapest and in Italy which I loved - Rome, Florence and Bologna, all fabulous cities to visit.

I have also travelled on family holidays to various parts of Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Italy around the beautiful unspoiled Tuscan countryside. The best trip by far was to South Africa, starting in Cape Town - Table mountain is a sight to behold, then travelling along the coast via the towns of Knysna, Franschhoek, and Oudtshoorn where we visited an ostrich farm and actually rode on the ostrichs backs - great fun altogether! We went on Safari in Lalibela Game reserve near Port Elizabeth, an unforgettable experience. We were looking for a different family holiday last year so we decided to do a Mediterranean Cruise, this was brilliant, a different city nearly every day, a great variety of food, all you can eat buffets, the highlight for me was the ice cream to die for when we stopped in Sicily, but for my two boys it had to be the numerous hot tubs on board!

I am now part of the Disneyland Paris Team, and have travelled there 7 times now with work and with my family and I know Disneyland Paris inside-out !.
