Holidays to Stalis

Stalis is a village located on the northern coast of the Greek island of Crete. It is 32km from both the airport and the island capital of Heraklion. The large lively resort of Malia is next to Stalis and is within walking distance. Stalis is also close to the very popular town of Hersonissos which is 9km away. It has a fabulous climate and gets extremely hot in the months of July & August.

Stalis is generally quiet and relaxed. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the beach road but there are also numerous Greek tavernas, cafes, bakeries and food shops. It’s close neighbour Malia is very lively so Stalis suits all requirements and expectations. Stalis has a beautiful long sandy beach with shallow waters and is perfect for an afternoon or early evening stroll. This beach has watersports, beach volley courts, lifeguards, and beach bars along with showers and changing rooms. Car hire, which is great value, is highly recommended for those who wish to see more of this beautiful resort town.

Stalis is suitable for families as it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere but is also ideal for couples and groups of all ages as there is plenty of nightlife nearby. It offers very good value on the ground and is a good base for those with an interest in history and culture.
