Calella is a seaside town situated on the Costa Maresme, 70km north of Barcelona airport. Costa Maresme is nestled between the more well-known Costa Brava and Costa Dorada. Calella is a popular resort in the summer, with 3kms of sandy beaches offering water sports and children’s activities.

Calella has lots to offer holidaymakers including bars, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and beach activities. In the old town of Calella you can stroll around the cobbled streets and stop off at a traditional tapas bar or restaurant for lunch or dinner. The Lighthouse of Calella is set on a promontory at the end of the beach and dates to 1856. From here you can enjoy some of the best views of Calella and to the mountains beyond. Park Dalmau de Calella is an urban park with outdoor space just outside Calella town. Montenegro National Park is just a short drive away and has good trekking and biking trails.
