Bardolino is located on Lake Garda in northern Italy. It is 25km from Verona and the city of Venice is only 130 km away. Bardolino is a wine region, with a picturesque countryside of gently rolling hills covered in olive groves, grape vines, flowering plants and tall cypress trees. It experiences a warm and temperate climate, with the warmest month typically being July so we recommend visiting between July and September.
Bardolino is a wine lovers paradise and is also famed for its olive oil, so much so they even have an oil museum. Many of the wineries offer unmissable wine tastings throughout the year. The old town of Bardolino has a lakeside promenade, with a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine. There are plenty of water sports on the lake for the more active holiday maker or if you prefer a more relaxed activity the town has an abundance of great shops to wander around, where you can stock up on leather goods, olive oil and of course wine.
