Discover Nerja

Nerja is a coastal resort town located on the eastern tip of the Costa del Sol. Nerja is 68km from Malaga Airport and is easily accessible by public transport. Nerja offers 16km of sandy beaches and is sheltered by the Sierra Almijara mountain range.

Enjoy a walk on the seafront promenade, the Balcon de Europa, with magnificent views of the sandy beach and coves on one side and the mountains on the other. In a town that still stays true to its Andalusian traditions, the old quarter remains virtually unchanged with its whitewashed houses on narrow, winding streets. There numerous bars and restaurants give the town a vibrant atmosphere. Nerja’s attractions are numerous, including the famous Cueves de Nerja, (Nerja caves) which are 3km from the town centre. Visit the mountaintop village of Frigiliana, minutes away by bus or taxi. Visit the beautiful Eagle Aqueduct, a jewel of historic Spanish architecture located in the countryside just outside of Nerja.  

Nerja is popular with families, couples and of course golfers with numerous golf courses located nearby. There is an abundance of sights and experiences for all to enjoy from hiking up El Cielo Mountain to sea kayaking on Burriana Beach.
