Sirmione is a resort town on the southern bank of Lake Garda in northern Italy. The nearest airport is Verona which is 36km away. The region is best known for its thermal baths and the medieval castle of Rocca Scaligera which overlooks the lake. Sirmione experience a warm and temperate climate.

Sirmione is one of the most picturesque resorts on Lake Garda, offering upmarket cafes and boutiques as well as panoramic shoreline walks along the lake. If you walk up to the ruins of the old Roman palace and look down you will be rewarded with spectacular views. As a spa town there is a good choice of thermal spa hotels offering an extensive range of wellness treatments. At night there are many restaurants and bars to relax in after spending time on the lake. Like many of the resorts in the area Venice, Verona and Milan are very easy to get to and can make for a fantastic day trip.
