Costa Calma is a small resort on the Jandia Peninsula in the south of Fuerteventura, which is one of the Canary Islands. It is located 65km from the airport and the transfer time to the resort is an hour. Costa Calma has two metres of a stunning white sandy beach and sparking blue sea.

In Costa Calma, you will find a biweekly market selling lots of souvenirs and the usual market fare. Don’t be afraid to haggle with the stall holders; they won’t get offended as they enjoy the banter! After a day on the beach the resort center has lots of bars and restaurants offering local specialties that will appeal to all tastes. Visitors can also take a trip to Oasis Park, which is a big hit with families as it’s a zoo and a botanical garden combined. They also operate their own shuttle bus from most of the big hotels in the area. 

This resort can be enjoyed by families and couples alike, as it offers a laid-back feel and a relaxed nighttime vibe. There are also plenty of water sports to be enjoyed by holidaymakers who like a more active holiday.
