Delta del Ebro is one of the largest wetland areas in the western Mediterranean on the northeast coast of Spain. It is in the province of Tarragona in Catalonia between the cities of Barcelona of Valencia. It is the delta region of the Ebro river and Deltebre is its capital city.

A large part of the delta has been declared a natural park since 1983 and it is home to more than 300 species of aquatic birds. Don’t miss the pink flamingos in the lagoon of La Tancada.
