Son Bou is a charming small beach resort on the south coast of Menorca, which is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands that also features Majorca and Ibiza. The resort is located 20km from both the airport and the capital city of Mahon. This area enjoys a wonderful Mediterranean climate of warm sunny summers and mild winters.

Son Bou boasts a beautiful large, spacious beach which is 2.5 km long so there is plenty of room for everyone, with different areas for families and adults. It is the most popular beach on the island for beach strollers. There is an abundance of natural sand dunes which make for a very pleasant backdrop. Son Bou has a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. It is a purpose built self-contained resort with lots of entertainment for kids. It is nestled among a few other villages and within striking distance of Mahon with its many attractions.

Son Bou is a terrific destination for families as there are lots of facilities and children are welcome everywhere in the resort. It also suits couples who are looking to kick back and is a great base for those who like to explore with many neighbouring towns and villages.

There are a few flights each week in the summer months from Dublin to Mahon and we have excellent rates for Son Bou throughout the season. The flight only takes 2 hours and the transfer time is 25 minutes.
