Santa Susanna is 64km north of Barcelona on the Costa Maresme in the Catalonia region of Spain. The beaches, bays and facilities of the Costa Brava (rugged coast) are nearby. Santa Susanna has 2km of broad beaches with soft golden sand. Its marine resort offers many different water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It has seven ancient watchtowers, one of which is home to the railway station! There are several excellent restaurants locally serving delicious cuisine, along with a few quaint bars perfect for a relaxing evening. Marineland Catalunya, with its dolphin area and fabulous waterpark, is only 7km from the village.
