Porto Cervo is a lovely Italian seaside resort in northern Sardinia. It is located 170km from Alghero airport and 300km from the capital Cagliari on the opposite end of the island. Porto Cervo is very upmarket and is expensive on the ground. Porto Cervo boasts a beautifully warm Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers.

Porto Cervo is extremely popular with the jet set, and luxury yachts are often present here. It is also regarded as a millionaire's playground. The port of Porto Cervo is considered to be amongst the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. It is located on the coast of Smeralda in the northeast corner of this stunning island. Some of the best beaches in all of Sardinia can be found on this fabulous coastline. Car hire is highly recommended here as this will allow you to explore Sardinia and all its magnificent attractions.

Porto Cervo is suitable for couples, families, and solo travellers for a relaxing holiday. It is a small town, but it offers stunning scenery and plenty to do and see. It is particularly suitable for a ‘get away from it all’ break.
