CHARLOTTE MCLEAN

I have been working in travel for 20 years now. I took a year out to go travelling to experience and have a better understanding of the packages I was selling. I visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii and Thailand. I have visited a lot of countries including a lot of destinations in the US, European cities and even Lapland!

I became interested in cruising and got my first taste on a Disney cruise ship called the Magic. This was such a different way to visit so many places in one holiday. I have been on several since, doing the Caribbean with Royal Caribbean and along the west coast of America from Alaska down to San Diego with Celebrity Cruises. I have visited Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Hawaii  - my favourite place to visit is Las Vegas.

I have been working for Abbey Travel for the last 26 years. I've been working as the Supervisor of Disneyland Pairs for a lot of those years including sales and marketing and customer service. I have travelled across America, Europe, South Africa and the UAE. I love New York, Italy, in particular Tuscany and the beautiful Portofino. In the last few years I’ve found a passion for mountains and have done some amazing trekking in Greece and Everest Basecamp with more trips planned for next year. It is a truly surreal life experience.

LESLIE CULLEN

I have worked in travel 27 years now and started working in Abbey travel in 1999. I have had the opportunity to travel to some great destinations in that time including some great city breaks to New York, Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Italian cities which I loved including Rome, Florence and Bologna, all really fabulous cities, well worth a visit.

I have also travelled on family holidays to various parts of Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Italy around the beautiful unspoiled Tuscan countryside. The best trip by far was to South Africa, starting in Cape Town - Table mountain is a sight to behold - then travelling along the coast via the towns of Knysna, Franschhoek, and Oudtshoorn where we visited an ostrich farm. We went on Safari in Lalibela Game reserve near Port Elizabeth, a truly unforgettable experience. I have also cruised in the Mediterranean with MSC, this was brilliant, a different city nearly every day, a great variety of food and all you can eat buffets. The highlight for me was the ice cream to die for when we stopped in Sicily, but for my two boys it had to be the numerous hot tubs on board and the kids clubs.
