Toni’s Cruise Onboard the Wonder of the Seas

I was recently invited to the launch of Royal Caribbeans’ incredible Wonder of the Seas cruise ship from Barcelona and got to experience all this ship has to offer over the course of a 2 night trade event. I flew with Ryanair and had a seamless experience as I had made sure I knew all the travel guidelines and advice prior to departing. I purchased Fast Track which helped with the security issues at the time at Dublin airport.

Location

When I arrived in Barcelona my transfer and the sunshine were awaiting me. It took approximately 20 minutes to reach the port. We cruised over night From Barcelona Port to Valencia.

What I Loved

The shows in the evening were fantastic. I was fortunate enough to see 3 during my 2 nights on the ship. The spa is certainly worth a visit too, as it’s a great place to spend some time relaxing. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy Flowrider, mixed surfing, rock climbing, the Ultimate Abyss and the Zipline.

Activities & Places to See

• Some of us disembarked the ship in Valencia to see the quaint streets and to try some local tapas and vino.
• There are numerous great shops on the ship to look around.
• There’s plenty of entertainment available from discos, casinos and bars.

Food & Bars

There’s a huge variety of bars and restaurants available on the ship including Windjammer Marketplace, Main Dining (which offers fine cuisine), specialty restaurants (supplements apply), Johnny Rockets, Sorrento’s Pizza and Starbucks to name a few.
