Yasmin's Trip to Disneyland Paris

Yasmins Trip To Disneyland Paris Macro

Disneyland Paris is located in Marne-la-Vallée, 32km east of Paris. The resort combines the magic of Disney with European charm and features two theme parks, several themed hotels, dining, shopping, and entertainment options. During this Familiarisation Trip, I had the opportunity to experience the attractions, accommodations, and guest services first hand, gaining valuable knowledge that will help me to better promote and recommend Disneyland Paris to clients. I flew with Air France from Dublin to Charles de Gaulle. From the airport, it took about an hour to reach the Parks, but can be less depending on traffic.

What I Loved

Disneyland Paris puts on so many incredible shows, with some of my highlights being the light shows in the evening. It was magical being able to see my favourite Disney stories brought to life through projections, music, lights and special effects during the Disney Tales of Magic show in the Disneyland Park. The Disney Cascade of Lights in Disney Adventure World was equally as memorable, where the stunning display of colourful lights and immersive storytelling created a really wonderful experience. Both shows provided a perfect ending to the day and were among the most unforgettable moments of my visit.

Activities & Places to See

  • Step into the enchanting kingdom of Arendelle through immersive theming, spectacular attractions, and unforgettable encounters with beloved characters from the Frozen films with a visit to the new World of Frozen.
  • Head to Mainstreet USA and admire its charming architecture, unique shops and vibrant atmosphere. You can also get an incredible view of Sleeping Beauty Castle from here!
  • Take in Adventure Bay's breathtaking scenery and waterfront setting. It's the perfect place to relax, explore, and fully immerse yourself in the magic of Disney Adventure World.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

There are plenty of bars and restaurants located all over Disneyland Paris which cater to every taste. Guests can enjoy hearty meals in the cosy, Scandinavian-inspired atmosphere of Nordic Tavern, savour delicious barbecue favourites at the rustic Cowboy Cookout, or indulge in an elevated dining experience with spectacular views at the elegant Regal View Restaurant and Lounge. For those looking to unwind after a day in the parks, the Redwood Bar in Sequoia Lodge provides a warm and inviting setting, making it the perfect place to relax with a drink and soak up the lodge's charming woodland ambience. I would recommend any of these to my clients!

Shopping, Nightlife & activities

There are plenty of gift shops throughout the parks, ranging from elegant clothing and jewellery boutiques to fun-filled toy stores and sweet shops, making it easy to find the perfect souvenir. In Disney Village, you’ll also find a lively selection of bars that stay open late, offering a great atmosphere to unwind in after a day in the parks. When it comes to activities, you’ll be spoiled for choice, with everything from thrilling rides to spectacular parades and unforgettable shows ensuring there’s always something to keep you entertained.

Overall Overview

This was an excellent experience that has significantly boosted my confidence in selling Disneyland Paris. During the trip, I visited a range of both offsite and onsite hotels, giving me a much stronger understanding of the different options available and enabling me to more confidently answer customer queries. I also experienced the new World of Frozen, which is a major addition to the resort and a compelling new selling point for visiting the parks. I had a brilliant time visiting Disneyland Paris; I already can't wait to go back!
